98 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR
Hello I will help you with your question,
The front of a four corner air suspended vehicle (some have coils in front and air in the rear) is a air shock. The rear of all vehicles is an air bag/spring. The airbags will crack and leak over time, if the ve oakley outlet hicle is raised without turning the air suspension off the bags will deflate and be ripped when the vehicle is lowered. If this has been a gradual oakley outlet lowing over time it is likely that the bags are cracked. You can test this by spraying the bags with a soap solutin and watch for bubbles. If the rear dropped after service the bags may have ripped due to being lifted improperly
If you jump the compressor and it runs you have air to the bags right? you can disconnect the air line and blow air down the line to test the bags. There is all possibility that the electrical portion of the system has burned up due to the compressor runniing all the time trying to put air into leaking bags. The compressor may run but not put out air as it may have overheated from trying to fill lea oakley outlet king bags. You can jack the vehicle and inspect the bottom of the bage for cracks and tears.
Without a complete system to put air into is doesn matter if the compre oakley outlet ssor comes on as all the air will leak out.
Strart at the affected part (the low rear end) and work back up the system until you get to the controls.
It will come down to how much you want to put into this before it makes more sense to replace it with a conventional system from an aftermarket supplier.
Let me know what you find with the bags and we will work from there
AlvinC answered a question about my Ford truck that only someone with an in depth knowledge of his subject would have known what was going on.
Rich DBecause of your expertise, you armed me with enough ammunition to win the battle with the dealer. They are installing a fuel filter and fuel pump at no charge to me. Thanks again to your service.
Jason V. Thanks, and be sure that I’ll be back whenever I need a question answered in a hurry.
